Senior Ruby Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Ruby developer to work on our mobile marketing platform, which powers real-time messaging, automation and analytics for the world’s largest brands. Ideally, you've worked with Rails, Sinatra, Sidekiq and these are not scary for you (bonus points for Elixir experience). Writing tests is something you can't live without.

We have approximately 20 running micro-services that serve hundreds of millions of requests per month (and growing rapidly). Our services rely on a range of technologies, which you’ll have to become familiar with, including: MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Rabbitmq, Fluentd, Docker, CoreOS, Ember.js, Elixir, GO, and RoR.

Mobile leaders

We founded the world's first iPhone app company in 2007, leading strategy and app development more than 120 apps for Fortune 500 brands.

With 15x No.1 apps under our belt, we knew we had found the secret to keeping mobile communities engaged. In January 2014, we launched Carnival Mobile Marketing Suite to give brands and their agencies innovative technology to keep up with "always on" mobile audiences.

Brand experts

Engaged mobile customers are the holy grail for every brand. But, many brands release apps without plans for ongoing engagement, and struggle to get results.

We're marketing experts with seven (plus) years of experience leading mobile strategy for global powerhouses like Mondelez, AB InBev, CNN, DreamWorks, and Kraft. We'll help you give your mobile community the highly-personalized experiences they crave, and drive more impressions to your best content across all channels.

Technology innovators

Compelling marketing is creative and personalized to each customer, and the most effective technology is easy to use.

Our innovative engagement engine helps brands build thriving mobile communities through relevant, beautiful messaging. Our automated message triggers, powerful analytics, and drag-and-drop interface mean you can execute faster and smarter.

Carnival was built specifically for marketers — with a drag-and-drop interface, it's easy to use and efficient.

Partners for success

More than just a platform, we're an extension of your mobile team. We partner with you and your agencies to develop an engagement strategy that maximizes the ROI of your mobile apps.

Carnival technology is powerful as a standalone, but we don't think that means you should go at mobile alone. We help you gather insights and set best practices across your brand, offering expert advice for automated messaging, geotargeting and geofencing, iBeacons, user onboarding, and success reporting.
